Catherine Lenora (Montgomery) Little

Catherine L. Little, 92, Gallipolis, Ohio passed away Sunday, June 12, 2016 at her residence. She was born August 22, 1923 in Gallia County, Ohio, daughter of the late James and Ethel (Lawthorn) Montgomery. She was a member of Ladies Auxiliary VFW #4464, Ladies Auxiliary DAV #53, Cheshire Order of Eastern Star, Old Kyger Free Will Baptist Church, True Believers Church Ladies Group, Yesterdays Kids Choral Group and a past Sunday School Teacher.
She is survived by her children: Marilyn (Bill) Ward, Gallipolis, Ohio; Larry (Carolyn) Little, Pomeroy, Ohio; Wade (Billie Jo) Little and Michael (Kathy) Little, both of Gallipolis, Ohio; seventeen grandchildren, thirty great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law: Evelyn Montgomery, Gallipolis, Ohio and Gladia Ridge, Wellston, Ohio; two special friends: Barb Roush, Cheshire, Ohio and Rosalie Swanson, Gallipolis, Ohio.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin L. Little; brother, James and Roger Montgomery; half-brother, William Eblin and half-sisters, Gladys and Adaline Clark and Margaret Shoemaker.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Thursday, June 16, 2016 in the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, Gallipolis, Ohio with Rev. Jamie Fortner, officiating. Burial will follow in Gravel Hill Cemetery, Cheshire, Ohio. Friends and family may call at the funeral home Wednesday 4:00-7:00 PM.
