Cathy Jean (Breech) Lusher

Cathy Jean Lusher, 46, Crown City (Mercerville Community), Ohio passed away Tuesday July 19, 2005 in Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus. She was born June 4, 1959 in Portsmouth, Ohio, daughter of Thomas C. and Lois Thompson Breech who survived and reside at Gallipolis, Ohio. A 1977 Gallia Academy High School Graduate, she received a Secretarial Diploma, Gallipolis Business College, 1978 and a B.S. Elementary Education, University of Rio Grande, 1998. She had taught as a substitute teacher in Gallipolis City School and the Ohio Valley Christian School; served in the Crown City Post Office; and clerked in several retail business in Gallipolis. She was a member of the Victory Baptist Church, Crown City.

Cathy married John Lusher June 22, 1979 at Rio Grande and he survives with a son, Brandon Lusher, Mercerville/Gallipolis; brother and sister-in-law, Randy and Susan Breech, Gallipolis, Ohio; three brothers-in-law: Stan (Gloria) Lusher, Mercerville/Columbus; Dan (Jane) Lusher, Chillicothe; Jim (Nancy) Lusher, Bidwell and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Friends may call at Faith Baptist Church, Rodney, Ohio on Friday, July 22, 2005 from 2:00-5:00 PM. Funeral services will follow with Rev. Jim Lusher, Rev. Jimmy Chapman, Rev. Ron Nicholas and Rev. Gary Warner officiating. Everyone is invited to share in a Time of Fellowship in the Church Activity Building immediately after the Service.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday in the Centenary Cemetery. A gathering of Family and Friends will be at the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, 420 First Ave, Gallipolis at 9:00 AM. The procession to the cemetery will leave at 9:45 AM.
