Charles L. "Chuck" Riedel Ii

Charles L. "Chuck" Riedel II, 58, Columbus, Ohio passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at Mount Carmel East Hospital, Columbus, Ohio. He was born May 3, 1957 in Logan County, West Virginia to the late Charles Lewis and Virginia Lee Underwood Riedel.

Charles is survived by his wife, Sandra Smith Riedel, of Columbus whom he married August 13, 1983 in Gallia County, Ohio. To this union were born two daughters: Alicia (Robert) Rose, Obetz, Ohio and Ashley Riedel, Columbus, Ohio. Also surviving are his step-sons: Bradley Smith, Bidwell, Ohio and Michael Smith, Bidwell, Ohio; grandchildren: Austin, Jimmy, Jayden, Teagan, Steven, Kaylee, and Aiden; brother, Michael (Mary) Riedel, Gallipolis; sister, Mary Edmonds, Groveport, Ohio; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Gerald and Promolia Smith, Bidwell, Ohio; nieces: Kimberly and Elizabeth and several cousins and extended family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Jamie Edmonds and maternal grandparents, A. C. and Merle Underwood.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton Chapel with Rev. Calvin Minnis officiating. Burial will follow in Vinton Memorial Park, Vinton, Ohio. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM Tuesday.
