Charles "Charlie" David Cox

Charles David "Charlie" Cox, 67, passed away Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at the Adena Medical Center, Chillicothe, Ohio. He was born in Wellston, Ohio,  April 1, 1958, son of the late Robert Wade Cox and Mildred Murphy Cox. He was a member of Laborers Union, a Christian who attended several area churches and was passionate about Harley Davidson Motorcycles. Charlie loved helping others, enjoyed poker runs for area charities and folks in need.

Charlie is survived by his wife, Linda (Jenkins) Cox of Langsville, his son, Chad (Nicole) Cox, Reynoldsburg, Ohio; grandson, Ethan Cox, Langsville, Ohio; brother, Jerry Cox, Vinton, Ohio; sisters: Ramona (Douglas) Hitchens, Blacklick, Ohio, Roberta (Michael) Yates, McArthur, Ohio and Glenna (David) Miller, Gahanna, Ohio.

Those preceding Charlie in death including his father are his daughter, Cindy Renee Rose Cox; brothers, James "J.R." Cox and Fred "Tincy" Cox and sister, Wilma Graham.

In accordance with his wishes Cremation services are under the care of McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton Chapel.
