Charles "Chuck" Dennis Thevenir

Charles "Chuck" Dennis Thevenir, 64, Crown City, Ohio passed away Monday, September 18, 2023 in the River Health Emergency Room, Point Pleasant, West Virginia.

Chuck was born May 7, 1959 at Gallipolis, Ohio, son of the late Gus Thevenir and Jewell Waugh-Halley. A retired truck driver, he was an avid fisherman, spending all of his free time on the water.

He leaves behind two sons: Rocky Thevenir, Bidwell, Ohio and Dustin Thevenir, Crown City, Ohio; sisters and brothers: Lea (Andy) Hout, Gallipolis, Ohio; James (Linda) Thevenir, Bidwell, Ohio; Anita Hoffman, Cleveland, Ohio; Retha (Trent) Canter, Vinton, Ohio and Allen (Alicia) Newhart, Brooksville, Florida; several nieces, nephews and friends, including special friends Jack Adams, Mikey Waugh and Eddie Butler and sister-in-law, Lori Joy.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Rick Joy.

In accordance with "Wood Chuck's" wishes, there will be no services held. Cremation is under the direction of the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, Gallipolis, Ohio, who is honored to serve the Thevenir Family.
