Clara Belle Morrow Polcyn, 75, of Gallipolis, Ohio passed away Monday, October 13, 2025, in Overbrook Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Middleport, Ohio. Born June 23, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Hanley and Bernice (Clark) Gardner.
Belle retired from Holzer Medical Center after more than twenty years where she was employed as a receptionist in the Ophthalmology Department. A devout Christian, she was a loving mother, grandmother and sister. She enjoyed photographing nature and making her own greeting cards as well as gardening.
She will be deeply missed by her children: Sandy Hill, Newark, Ohio, Jim (Missi) Morrow, Cheshire, Ohio and Shane Polcyn, Gallipolis; grandchildren: John Mullen, Tevin Mullen, Dalton Hill, Kaisee Hill, Bryan (Allie) Morrow, Kirk (Jessica) Morrow, Savannah (fiancé Jordan Lambert) Morrow; great-grandchildren: Claire Mullen, Bo and Dallas Morrow, Karsen and Kanaan Morrow, Brianna Polcyn and Acadia Polcyn.
Also missing Belle are sisters, Janet Jackson, Gallipolis, Shirley Schmigal, Kentucky and her fur baby, Joe.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husbands, Ernest Morrow and James Polcyn and sisters, Peggy Barcus and Carolyn Carman.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Thursday, October 16, 2025, in the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, Gallipolis, Ohio, with Pastor John Swanson officiating. Burial will follow in Ohio Valley Memory Gardens, Gallipolis. Family and friends may call at the funeral home Thursday, 1:00-2:00 PM.
