Clark E. Baker, 73, Gallipolis, Ohio, passed away Monday, January 23, 2012, in Holzer Medical Center, Gallipolis. He was born February 10, 1938, at Swedesboro, New Jersey, the son of the late Russell and Blanche (Heventhal) Baker. He received his Bachelors of Science Degree in Animal Studies from Delaware Valley College, Doylestown, Pennsylvania and later became a dairy manager for Weathers Farms of Bowman, South Carolina, from which he retired.
Clark is survived by his wife, Debra A. (Russell) Baker, whom he married February 23, 1991 at Gallipolis, Ohio; four children: Ellen Belknap, Columbus, Ohio; Allen (Lynn) Baker, Thomasville, Georgia; Lois (Scott) Strain, North Carolina and Andy (Shannon) Baker, Columbia, South Carolina; four stepchildren: David Russell, Estill, South Carolina; Christina (Randy) Russell, Midway, Texas; Angela (Jeff) Russell, Gallipolis and Shannon Russell, Orangeburg, South Carolina; one brother, Ernest (Betty) Baker, Woodbury, New Jersey; fifteen grandchildren and a multitude of former co-workers, collegiate friends and special friends in South Carolina.
The McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, is honored to be handling the arrangements for the Baker Family. At his request, there will no services.
