Claude R. Russell

Claude R. Russell, 85, Columbus, Ohio, passed away at his residence Tuesday, May 30, 2006. He was born February 3, 1921 in Meigs County, Ohio, son of the late Martin L. Russell and Mary Elizabeth Hoffman Russell.
A graduate of Meigs County High School and a retired plasterer, he was a WW II Army Veteran who served in France and Northern Europe. He was a member of the Wilksville Orphans Friend Lodge 275, Scotish Rite, Valley of Columbus and the Wilkesville OES 207.
Claude married Roberta Tinkham November 9, 1946 in Columbus and she survives with one daughter and son-in-law: Sharon K. And Tom Moore, Worthington, Ohio.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Friday, June 2, 2006 in Vinton Memorial Park with Rev. Marvin Sallee officiating. Friends may call at the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home 208 Main St, Vinton Friday 1:00-2:00 PM.
