Cloyd Ferrell

Cloyd Ferrell, 71, Bidwell, Ohio passed away at his home April 10, 2014. He was born January 8, 1943, son of the late Thomas and Elitha (Curry) Ferrell. Cloyd attended several churches throughout Gallia County. He was employed as a bus mechanic and custodian for the Gallia County Schools for more than thirty years.

Cloyd is survived by two sons: Danny (Diana) Ferrell and Jeff (Selina) Ferrell, both of Vinton, Ohio; grandchildren: Sarah Klein, Pomeroy, Ohio; Tony (Jennifer) Ferrell, Bidwell, Ohio; Stephanie Ferrell, Columbus, Ohio and Kaylieona Kemper, Vinton, Ohio; great-grandchildren: Kurtis and Dakota Ferrell and Heavenly Klein. He is also survived by brothers, Clyde Ferrell, Bidwell, Ohio; Bernard (Pam) Ferrell, Columbus, Ohio and Harvey (Gertrude) Ferrell, Bidwell, Ohio; sisters: Velma (Woodrow) Russell, Bidwell, Ohio; Phlorine (Bill) Campbell, Dunbar, West Virginia; Lucinda (Kenny) White, Columbus, Ohio and sister-in-law, Reba Ferrell, Bidwell, Ohio; special friends: Sam "S.L." Ferrell, Columbus, Ohio and Dave Dean, Vinton, Ohio.

He was preceded in death by brothers Thomas Ferrell, Jr., Samuel Ferrell and Marvin Ferrell.

Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 PM Sunday, April 13, 2014 at the Wesleyan Chapel Church, Morgan Center with Rev. Calvin Minnis officiating. Friends and family may call at the church one hour prior to services Sunday. Burial will follow in Morgan Center Cemetery. The McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton Chapel, is honored to serve the Ferrell Family.
