Clyde Thomas "Tommy" Donahue, 77, Vinton, passed away in Holzer Medical Center, Gallipolis Saturday morning, June 7, 2008. Clyde was born October 12, 1930 in Jacksonville, Ohio, son of the late Clyde Donahue and Mildred Grover Donahue Ashcraft. He was a 1948 graduate of Rutland High School, and a retired Air Force veteran who served in Vietnam and Korea. In addition, he was a retired school bus driver for the Gallia County Schools and a member of the Vinton American Legion Post 161.

He is survived by his wife, Mildred Thomas Donahue; children, Christy Lavender, Syracuse; Fauna Donahue, Vinton; Arvina (Tom Kirk) Donahue, Denver, Colorado and Scott Donahue, Vinton; three grandchildren, Raberta (Jered) Hill, Racine; Keri (Travis) Smith, Letart, Ohio and Cynthia (Brody) Bauers, Logan, Ohio; and four great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Larry Lavender.

Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, June 10, 2008 at Vinton Memorial Park, with Pastor Bob Powell officiating. There will be no visitation.
