It is with great sadness that the family of Connie Beach announce her passing Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at 5:07 AM at Holzer Medical Center, Gallipolis, Ohio following a lengthy illness. She was surrounded by family and friends as she made her transition.
Connie was born May 7, 1942, in Jochin, West Virginia, to Willie Mae and Berley Geiger, Sr., both of whom preceded her in death.
She was a resident of Bidwell, Ohio for sixty years where she and her former husband raised seven children on their many farms. They also, together, owned several businesses in the Bidwell-Porter area. She enjoyed gardening and caring for her beautiful rose bushes. Connie was a beautiful, kind and precious soul that was loved very deeply by all who knew her. She was an amazing mother and grandmother who loved her family dearly.
She was a longtime dedicated member of Kingdom Ministries in Kerr, Ohio, where she celebrated her faith in God until she became ill in 2017.
Connie is survived by daughters: Saun (Jonathon) Beach Carson, Phoenix, Arizona and Dawn Beach, Gallipolis, Ohio; sons: Felipe (Hobie) Beach, Thurman, Ohio and Burley Geiger-Beach, Bidwell, Ohio; stepdaughter, Kihianti Beach, Springfield, Ohio; stepsons: Frank Beach, Jr. and Aaron (Amanda) Beach, both of Bidwell; former husband, Frank (Lire Rose) Beach, Sr., Institute, West Virginia.
Also surviving are sisters Rose McCoy and Beverly Geiger, both of Charleston, West Virginia, Othella Close and Sylvia (Freelin) Wright, both of Gallipolis; brothers Marvin Geiger, Charleston, West Virginia, Claude (Ruthie) Geiger, Crown City, Ohio and Marcus (Latrenda) Geiger, Gallipolis; thirty-one grandchildren, thirty-four great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins including special friend Marguerite Robie and her daughters, Missy Robie and Susie (John) McClintock, all of Bidwell, Ohio.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five brothers: Berley Geiger Jr., Harry Geiger, Rodney Geiger, Thomas Geiger, and Calvin Geiger and grandchildren: Kiara Beach, Chianni Beach and Isaiah Beach.
The family would like to extend their thanks and appreciation to the Staff of Four Winds Community of Jackson and the Staff of Holzer 4 East for their unwavering care provided to Connie during her time with them.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Saturday, December 28, 2024, at Kingdom Ministries, Kerr, Ohio with Pastor Randy Patterson officiating. Private burial will follow at the convenience of the family. Friends may call at the church Saturday 11:00 AM to the time of service. Arrangements are under the direction of the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, Gallipolis, Ohio.
Pallbearers include Felipe Beach, Frank Beach Jr., Austin King, Raphael Mack, Burley Geiger-Beach, Aaron Beach, Felipe Beach II and Daunevyn Woodson. Honorary Pallbearers include Jonathan Carson and John McClintock.
