Connie Ann (Washburn) Sexton-Gibeaut

Connie Ann Sexton-Gibeaut, 71, of Gallipolis, Ohio died Wednesday, April 2, 2025, in Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus, Ohio. Connie was born in Akron, Ohio, August 27, 1953, daughter of the late William and Norma (Pickrell) Washburn.

A Licensed Practical Nurse, she formerly was employed as a Social Worker for Holzer Hospice who loved spending time with her family and friends and enjoyed the outdoors.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband, Jason Gibeaut, Gallipolis and her children: Jason (Kristin) Sexton, Grove City, Ohio; Jeremy (Michele) Sexton, Beaver, Ohio and Melissa (Kyle) Toohey, Gahanna, Ohio; grandson, Ben Sexton and stepdaughters, Jade (Seth) Boring, Canton, Ohio and Jasmine (Mike) Schwarten, Endicott, New York.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Kristopher A. Sexton.

According to Connie's wishes, there will be no services held. Cremation services are under the direction of The McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, Gallipolis, Ohio, who is honored to serve the family.
