Constance "Connie" Sue Smith

Constance Sue Smith, “Connie”, 79, of Bidwell, Ohio, passed away at her home Monday, June 15, 2026, following a lengthy illness. Connie was born in Gallipolis, Ohio, February 13, 1947, to the late Virgil and Ruth (Ralston) Cross.

Connie was a member of the Vinton OES Chapter and enjoyed traveling and working concessions.

Left behind to remember her is her daughter, Misty (Heath) Denney and grandson, Gage Denney, all of Bidwell, Ohio and sisters, Linda (John) McMillin and Sandy Francies, both of Gallipolis, Ohio.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded by husband, Ward Smith, July 16, 2019.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Wednesday, June 17, 2026, in Denney Family Cemetery, Bidwell, with Pastor Mark Dunlap officiating. The McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, Gallipolis, Ohio is honored to serve the Smith Family.
