D. Pearl Remy, 74, Gallipolis passed away Saturday, November 8, 2008 at Holzer Medical Center, Gallipoils. She was born November 25, 1933 at Gallipolis, daughter of the late Homer and Ruba Riffle Bradshaw. A retired employee of Duke Cleaners, Pearl also taught Adult Basic Education in the Gallipolis area for many years. A member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Bladen, Ohio, she will be missed and was loved by all.
She is survived by five children: Debra L. Bradshaw, Anthony W. (Rosemary) Remy, Peggy S. Mount, William A. Remy and Robert L. Remy; eight grandchildren: Corina Bradshaw, Annette Brown, Bert and Bobby Masters, Eric Goff, Chris (Olivia) Remy, Phillip (Brittany) Remy, and Jessi Remy; two great-grandchildren: Raven Anderson and Elora Remy; two brothers, Russ and Herb Bradshaw; daughter-in-law, Deadrea L. Benson; and several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Pearl was preceded in death by son, Walter "Bo" Bradshaw; sisters, Mary Williams and Golda Hudnall; brother, Ralph Bradshaw and son-in-law, Doug Mount.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Thursday November 13, 2008 in the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, 420 First Ave, Gallipolis. Burial will follow in the Centenary Cemetery, Gallipolis. Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday 6:00-8:00 PM.
