Daniel "Panama" Ray Darst

Daniel "Panama" Ray Darst, 54, Rutland, Ohio passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2019 in Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus, Ohio. Born July 12, 1964 at Gallipolis, Ohio, he was the son of Georgia Porter, Gallipolis and the late Alonzo Luther Darst.

Danny is survived by his mother, Georgia as well as sister, Debbie (Randy) McKinney and brother, Jerry (Teresa) Darst, all of Gallipolis, Ohio; Butch Porter and Debbie (Robert) Henry, both of Point Pleasant, West Virginia; Terry (Julie) Porter, Bidwell, Ohio; Steve (Bridget) Porter, Point Pleasant, West Virginia and Val (Jan) Porter, Gallipolis, Ohio; special friend, Sharon O'Bryan and her children, Brandon and Chelsea; four grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family members.

In addition to his father, he was preceded by a brother, David Darst and his step-father, Harold Porter.

Graveside services will be conducted Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at 12:00 PM in the Gravel Hill Cemetery, Cheshire, Ohio. There will be no visitation. The McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, Gallipolis, Ohio is honored to have been chosen to serve the family.
