Danny H. Wells

Danny H. Wells, 62, Wilkesville, Ohio, passed away Saturday, June 12, 2010 surrounded by his family and friends in Cabell-Huntington Hospital, Huntington, West Virginia, as a result of injuries sustained in an accident near his residence one week ago. A graduate of Wilton High School, he attended the Ohio State University and was a self-employed truck driver. He was a US Army Veteran, Vietnam War; a lifetime member of the Owner/Operator Independent Drivers Association, Grain City, Missouri, and a member of the Orphans Friends F&AM Lodge 275, Wilkesville.

Danny was born May 21, 1948 in Athens, Ohio, son of the late Walter and Nena Maxine Kessel Wells. He is survived by his wife of thirty-three years, June Jones Wells; brothers and sister, Eugene (Julie) Wells, Wilkesville, Ohio; Frank (Brenda) Wells, Raeford, North Carolina; and Constance (Joe) White, Wilkesville, Ohio; nephews: Kyle White, Josh (Brook) Wells, Jon B. Jones II and nieces, Stephanie (Mark) Saunders and Katy Jones; father-in-law, Bobbie Jones, Gallipolis, Ohio.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Wednesday, June 16, 2010 in the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton, with Pastor Cliff Curry officiating. Cremation will follow the funeral service. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, 4:00-8:00 PM.
