Darleigh Dair Shue

Darleigh Dair Shue, 76, Gallipolis, passed away in Pleasant Valley Hospital, Point Pleasant, West Virginia on Wednesday, April 5, 2006. A retired truck driver and welder, he was born March 7, 1930 in Pocahontas County, West Virginia, son of the late Emery Everett Shue and Pearl Williams Shue.
He is survived by his wife, Bernadine Carroll Shue; two sons and three daughters: Jimmy (Mary) Shue, Red Line, Pennsylvania; Ben Shue, Hillsboro, West Virginia; Brenda Nauman, Forest City, North Carilina; Elaine McCoy, Marlinton, West Virginia; and Rose Marie (Homer) Tinney, Elkins, West Virginia; eight grandchildren and a great-grandchild; and five sisters, Anna Atkins, Chesterfield, Virginia; Irene Shorter, Augusta, Georgia; Wynona McNeal, Augusta, Georgia; Berlene Long, Augusta, Georgia and Vivian Gibson, Lewisburg, West Virginia.
He was preceded in death by two sons, Westley Allen Shue and Warren Dair Shue; and three sisters.
Services will be 2:00 PM Sunday, April 9, 2006 in the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton, with the Rev. Heath Jenkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Vinton Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from noon to 2:00 PM
