David Eugene Bare
October 9, 1950 — February 19, 2005
David Eugene Bare, 54, Gallipolis, beloved son of Rev. Eugene and Dora (Bellomy) Bare, left this earthly home to go to his heavenly home for which he'd worked for over thirty eight years Saturday, February 19, 2005 in Holzer Medical Center. He was born October 9, 1950 at Gallipolis, Ohio and was one of God's Special Children. He was a charter member of David's Chapel Freewill Baptist Church, Gallipolis and had attended the Silver Memorial Freewill Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother, Eddie Ray Bare, Ashland, Ohio; maternal grandmother, Elizabeth (Izzy) Bellomy, Gallipolis, Ohio; uncles: Gary (Bertha) Bellomy, Crown, West Virginia; Vernie (Mavis) Bare, Cleveland, Ohio and Franklin (Shirley) Bare, Man, West Virginia; niece, Jennifer Luoise Bare (Dewaine) Cavenaugh, Canal Winchester, Ohio and nephew, Jonathan Aaron (Pearl) Bare, Akron, Ohio; four great-nieces: Lindsey and Jessica Cavenaugh, Canal Winchester, Ohio and Rachel and Emily Bare, Akron, Ohio; great-nephew, Caleb Bare Cavenaugh, Canal Winchester and a host of radio friends and phone buddies.
David was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Rev. Lloyd Bellomy; paternal grandparents, John and Rhonda Knipp Bare; uncle, Rev. William (Florence) Bare; and aunts, Delma Lilly and Martha Wilson.
Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday at the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, 420 First Ave, Gallipolis with Rev. J.R. Preston and Rev. Andrew Parsons officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Olive Cemetery near Bidwell. Friends may call at the funeral home Monday 5:00-8:00 PM.
