David Brian Owens, 54, Gallipolis, Ohio passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2012 in Holzer Medical Center, Gallipolis. He was born November 6, 1957 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Arlen Ray Owens and Mary M. Lemley Owens Ferris. David was a 1976 graduate of Gallia Academy High School and an avid Kentucky Wildcats fan.
David is survived by his wife, Vicki Hoffman Owens and daughter, Kelsey Marie Owens, who was his pride and joy; brothers: Arlen Ray Owens II (Beverly Clay Rothgeb), Belpre, Ohio; T.J. Owens, Rio Grande, Ohio and John (Jeanna) Owens, Covington, Kentucky; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, George and Joan Hoffman, Middleport, Ohio; stepmother, Ellen Camden Owens, Bidwell, Ohio; nieces and nephews: Nick, Katie, Chris, Ben, Aaron and Xavier Owens; Bryan Hoffman, Lisa Wickline and Tami Sheets as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.
In addition to his parents, his brother Gordon Wyatt Owens preceded him in death.
Per David's wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral services. A private service will be held at a later date. The McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, Gallipolis, is honored to be handling the arrangements for the Owens Family.
