David M. Robinson, 75, Bidwell, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord Friday, January 13, 2006 after an extended illness. He was born June 22, 1930 in Gallipolis, Ohio, son of the late Hoke and Ethel McCormick Robinson. Mr. Robinson was a 1948 graduate of Gallia Academy High School, served in the United States Air Force for four years, and a retired employee of the former Kaiser Aluminum Corporation, Ravenswood, West Virginia. He was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church.

David had a huge love of jazz, big band, and older rock music. He was also involved in antique shows and flea marketing for many years and will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his special companion, Nancy Davis, Gallipolis with whom he shared a very special pet dog, Miss Daisy; daughters: Susan (Warren) Robinson, Colton, Ohio and Tanya (Phil) Baird, Gallipolis; sons: T. Jay (Diana)Robinson, Gallipolis and Scott (Tammy) Robinson, Rapid City, South Dakota; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; and his Aunt Margaret Blazer, Gallipolis.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Janice (Beaver) Robinson, in 1994.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, January 17, 2006 at the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, 420 First Ave, Gallipolis with Pastor Harold Benson officiating. Burial will follow in Ohio Valley Memory Gardens, Gallipolis. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday 7:00-9:00 PM.
