Debbera J. "Debbie" Mays Blackburn, 40, Little Hocking, Ohio (formerly of Bidwell) passed away Sunday, February 22, 2004 in Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born March 20, 1963 at Columbus, Ohio daughter of Opal Martin Mays of Bidwell and the late Denver Mays. Debbie was a 1981 graduate of North Gallia High School. She married Billy Ray Blackburn Jr. November 27, 1981 at Vinton and he survives.
In addition she is survived by son, Joshua Ryan Blackburn, Little Hocking, Ohio; sister, Becky (Steve) Harder, Rio Grande, Ohio; two brothers, Mike (Kris) Mays, Urbana, Ohio and Don (Melissa) Mays, Bidwell, Ohio; father and mother-in-law, Billy and Scilvie Blackburn, Vinton, Ohio.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday February 26, 2004 in the Vinton Baptist Church, 11818 SR 160, Vinton with Rev. Bill Duty Officiating. Burial will follow in the Vinton Memorial Park, Vinton. Friends may call at the Leavitt Funeral Home, 801 Victor Street, Belpre Tuesday 4:00-8:00 PM and at the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, 420 First Avenue, Gallipolis Wednesday 4:00-8:00 PM.
