Deborah "Debbie" L. Weddington

Deborah “Debbie” L. Weddington, 70, of Vinton, Ohio passed away following a lengthy illness Thursday, November 5, 2026, in Holzer Medical Center, Gallipolis, Ohio. Debbie was born May 29, 1956, in Columbus, Ohio, daughter of the late Randolph and Dolly (Williamson) Marcum.

She was known for her seamstress skills and she spent her time offering a helping hand to anyone who was in need. Her greatest accomplishments were being a loving mother, grandmother and sister – her family was her life.

Debbie leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughters, Mary Elizabeth Sprague, Vinton, Ohio and Maranda (Matt) Eversole, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; grandchildren Bryanna, Kenzie, Ryan and Penelope as well as five great-grandchildren.

Also missing her are her brothers, Mark (Betty Kay) Marcum, Ft. Gay, West Virginia, Randy (Adona) Marcum, St. Albans, West Virginia and sister, Sarah Ann Marcum, Vinton, Ohio.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Douglas E. Lloyd III, granddaughter, Alayna Lloyd and brother, Thomas Marcum.

In accordance with Debbie’s wishes, no funeral services will be held. Cremation services are under the direction of the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home who is honored to be entrusted with Debbie’s care.
