Debra Ann McKinney

Debra Ann McKinney, 63, of Gallipolis, Ohio, passed away Monday, April 13, 2026, in Cabell Huntington Hospital, Huntington, West Virginia, following a lengthy illness. Born January 28, 1963, in Gallipolis, she was the daughter of Georgia (Barton) Porter, Gallipolis, and the late Alonzo Darst. Debbie was a graduate of Kyger Creek High School, Class of 1981.

Debbie leaves her loving mother, Georgia Porter, her husband, Randy McKinney and children: Miranda (Chris) Summers and Jerrid (Gretchen) Douglas, all of Gallipolis; grandchildren: Alden Smith, Adara Smith, Jade Douglas, Owen Summers, Coalton Spencer and Lily Summers.

Also surviving are brothers Jerry (Teresa) Darst, Gallipolis; Terry (Julie) Porter, Bidwell, Ohio; Steve (Bridget) Porter, Point Pleasant, West Virginia and Val Porter, Gallipolis; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Ronnie (Paula) McKinney, Gallipolis; Peggy McKinney, Cheshire, Ohio; Patty (Tony) Eblin, Middleport, Ohio; Darlene (Ron) Parcell, Gallipolis and a host of extended family members and friends.

In addition to her father, she was preceded by stepfather, Harold Porter; brothers, David Darst, Danny “Panama” Darst and Butch Porter and sister, Debbie Henry.

Graveside services were held Thursday, April 16, 2026, in the Addison-Reynolds Cemetery, Gallipolis, with James Stewart officiate.
