Delbert W. "Buddy" Mcelhaney

Delbert W. "Buddy" McElhaney, 82, Patriot, passed away Sunday, February 10, 2008 at Pleasant Valley Hospital, Pt. Pleasant, West Virginia. An U.S. Navy Veteran, he was born November 19, 1925, son of the late Harry and Lilly Wray McElhaney.
He is survived by two daughters: Sonia (Robert) Casto, Bidwell, Ohio and Wilda (Jack) Selby, Akron, Ohio; stepchildren: Roger (Kim) Main, Kentucky; David (Nhing) Clevenger, Springfield, Ohio; Paula Higgins (Caprice Stuller), Barberton, Ohio; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a niece.
He was preceded by his wife, Bernadean Main McElhaney; daughter, Caroline McElhaney and sister, Wilda Saunders.
Funeral services will be held 12:00 Noon Wednesday February 13, 2008 at McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, 420 First Ave, Gallipolis, Ohio with Pastor Richard Cottrell officiating. Burial will follow at Mound Hill Cemetery with Full Military Graveside Rites presented by the Gallia County Veterans Service Organizations. There will be no calling hours.
