Delores June (Burcham) Wall

Delores June Burcham Wall, 71, Gallipolis, died Sunday, February 11, 2007, at her at home. She was affectionately called "June" by her friends and family. Born September 8, 1935 in Springfield, Ohio, the daughter of the late Harold and Kathryn Fulks Burcham. A 1953 graduate of Fairland High School, June was Salutatorian of her class and received an English and Athletic award. She was a co-owner of H and R Block in Gallipolis and gave the company 37 years of service, retiring in 2006. Prior to this she was employed by an insurance company in Columbus, Ohio and then Watts Ritter in Huntington, West Virginia. She was also an enrolled agent for the IRS and a member of the First Church of God, Gallipolis.

June married Garner Wall on September 15, 1956 in Huntington, West Virginia and they have three children: Cathy (Jeff) Icard, Gallipolis; Terry (Louann) Wall, Ravenswood, West Virginia and Kelly (Robert)) Waugh, Jackson, Ohio. She found so much joy in her 6 grandchildren: Lindsey (Tom) Frasier, Corey Icard, Nicole Wall, Alexandra Davis, Abigail Waugh, and Lilianna Waugh. June was also blessed with many wonderful friends and other close family members.

June is survived by her loving brother Larry Burcham; sister-in-law, Mary; nephews, Jamie Burcham and Brett Burcham; and niece Jennifer Burcham.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Friday, February 16, 2007 at McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, 420 First Ave, Gallipolis with Pastor Paul Voss officiating. Burial will follow at Miller Cemetery, Miller, Ohio. Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday from 5:00 - 8:00 PM.
