Dennis Ryan Russell

Dennis Ryan Russell, 28, Vinton, Ohio went to be with the Lord Thursday, May 22, 2014 in St. Mary's Hospital, Huntington, West Virginia following a massive stroke suffered Sunday afternoon. He was born June 21, 1985 at Point Pleasant, West Virginia, son of Dennis Russell of Chillicothe, Ohio and Diane Thacker Russell of Vinton, Ohio. Ryan was a 2004 Graduate of Buckeye Hills Vocational School and of Jackson High School, Jackson, Ohio.
In addition to his parents, Ryan is survived by a sister, Brittney Nicole Russell, Vinton, Ohio and his maternal grandmother, Joan Snyder Thacker, Vinton, Ohio. Also surviving are nephew, Aiden Michael York, Vinton, Ohio and two uncles: Vernon "Jake" Shepard, Wellston, Ohio and Tim Davis, Chillicothe, Ohio and aunt, Theresa (Dave) Bryant, Beaver, Ohio.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at the Fairview Church of Christ in Christian Union, Alice Road, Vinton, Ohio with Pastor Denver McCarty and Pastor Curt Arthur officiating. Burial will follow in Franklin Cemetery near Vinton. Friends and family may call at the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton Monday, May 26, 2014 5:00 PM-8:00 PM.
