Donald Eugene Mitchell

Donald Eugene Mitchell, 75, Vinton, Ohio went to be with the Lord Monday, May 20, 2019 at his home. He was born in Gallipolis, Ohio July 3, 1943 to the late Henry William and Opal Goldie Poston Mitchell. He was owner of B&M Heating and Cooling, a member of Buckeye State Sheriff's Association and Moose Lodge. He married Janice Carol Simpson Mitchell, who survives.

Don is survived by his wife, Janice Mitchell and children: Dee Mitchell (Tom) McCullough, Gallipolis, Ohio; Ron (Angela) Glover Mitchell, Tempe, Arizona; Laurie (Mike) Pope, Vinton, Ohio; Michael (Amanda) Thivener, Waverly, Ohio; Donna (Sonny) Adkins, Vinton, Ohio; Darlena Russell, Teays Valley, West Virginia; Dena Kingsley, Bidwell, Ohio and Denny (Lanna) Lively, Vinton, Ohio; grandchildren: Dalton (Dayna) Carpenter, Vannessa Martin, Shannon (Rosie) Adkins, Raymond Adkins, Jeremiah (Christy) Voreh, Brandice Kingsley, Angel Kingsley, Kiley Kingsley, Jacob Lively, Keshia (Brian) Kelley, Lonnie Pope and Denny Pope and numerous great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents he was preceded by brothers, Billie Mitchell and Ralph Mitchell.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Thursday, May 23, 2019 at the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton Chapel, with Pastor Heath Jenkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Vinton Memorial Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the funeral home Thursday 11:00 AM until the time of service.
