Donald Eugene Wright

Donald Eugene Wright, 57, Bidwell, Ohio passed away Monday, November 25, 2013. Don was born in Parkersburg, West Virginia April 22, 1956, the son of Darrell Gene Wright of Stuart, Florida and Margaret Ann (Satow)(John) Dickinson, also of Stuart, Florida. A U.S. Navy Veteran, he served on the USS Belknap and the USS Shenandoah after which he was employed by Martin County, Stuart, Florida. Don then became a self-employed carpenter and contractor and attended Southern Baptist Churches.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Diana (Fielder) Wright, whom he married April 18, 1981 at Stuart, Florida; daughter, Vanessa Marie (David Trout) Wright, Bidwell; six grandchildren: Arianna, Mya, Logan, Dylan, Oceanna and Autumn Trout; two brothers, William (Teresa) Wright and Darrell Wayne (Janice) Wright, both of Stuart, Florida and a sister, Sandra Jean (Wally) Wallace, also of Stuart, Florida.

Don was preceded in death by an infant brother and both maternal and paternal grandparents.

The Wright Family would like to thank Holzer Hospice, Cabell Huntington Oncology Department, Nurses Dani Kelly and Jessalyn Ferguson and Don's sister-in-law, Carolyn Johnson for all their care during his illness.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Saturday, November 30, 2013 in the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, Gallipolis with Pastor Don Saxton officiating. Burial will follow in Fairmount Cemetery, Jackson, Ohio. Friends and family may call at the funeral home Friday 5:00-8:00 PM.
