Donna "D.J." Jean (Lambert) Tompkins

Donna Jean "D.J." Lambert Tompkins, 76, of Oak Hill, Ohio passed away Thursday, July 25, 2024, in the Holzer Medical Center Emergency Department, Gallipolis, Ohio. DJ was born April 11, 1948, in Vinton, Ohio, daughter of the late Luke and Arminta (Hubbard) Lambert.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her daughters, Michelle (Steve) Pelfrey, Gallipolis, Ohio and Tina Tompkins, Point Pleasant, West Virginia; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; brother, Jerry (Carolyn) Lambert, Patriot, Ohio and sister, Ruth Olinger, Middletown, Ohio; sister-in-law, Janet Lambert and her best fur baby, Lucy Tompkins.

In addition to her parents, DJ was preceded by a son, Dwayne Keith Smith, brother, Larry Lambert and sister, Pam Byus.

A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, August 22, 2024, at 6:00 PM in the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, Gallipolis, Ohio. A Gathering of Family and friends will be held at the funeral home Thursday 5:00-6:00 PM.
