Donna Lee (Parsons) Clark

Donna Lee Clark, 69, Point Pleasant, West Virginia, passed away quietly at her home Saturday, February 26, 2022. She was born in Fairmont, West Virginia November 28, 1952 to the late Jack Harold and Wilma Lucille (Wine) Parsons. Donna received her Bachelors of Nursing from West Virginia University and later was the Director of Nursing in McAllen, Texas and in Nebraska. She retired in 2014 after several years working at Pleasant Valley Hospital, Point Pleasant, West Virginia.

She spent her free time throughout her life writing poetry and spending time with her family was her passion. She loved watching NFL games, cheering on her favorite player Patrick Mahomes, the Kansas City Chiefs Quarterback.

Donna is survived by her children James (Jenny) Clark, Bidwell, Ohio and Tammy (Larry) Snyder, Point Pleasant, West Virginia; grandchildren: Marissa (Rusty) Cowan, Wilmore, Kentucky; Casey (Robert) Davis, Nicholasville, Kentucky; Kristen Clark, Bidwell, Ohio; Morgan Snyder, Point Pleasant; Austin Tiller, Lancaster, Ohio; Haley Clark, Bidwell and Kelsey Snyder, Point Pleasant; brother, Jack Parsons, Jr., Point Pleasant; sister, Terry (Vernon) Elkins, Charleston, West Virginia and "bonus daughter", Emily (Amanda) Clark, Gallipolis, Ohio.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her daughter, Kimberly Holstein, son-in-law, Paul Holstein and grandson, Caleb Tiller.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM Wednesday, March 2, 2022 in the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, Gallipolis, Ohio with Pastor Marissa Cowan officiating. Burial will follow in Ridgelawn Cemetery, Mercerville, Ohio. Friends and family may call at the funeral home Wednesday Noon to 1:00 PM.
