Dora Janis (Bellomy) Bare
March 8, 1934 — March 20, 2010
Dora Janis Bare, 76, Gallipolis, Ohio went to be with her Lord Saturday, March 20, 2010 in Holzer Medical Center, Gallipolis. She was born March 8, 1934 in Lorado, West Virginia, to the late Rev. Lloyd Benton Bellomy and Elizabeth Lillian Adkins Bellomy.
She married Rev. Eugene Bare December 16, 1949 in Cattlesburg, Kentucky and he preceded her in death September 20, 2005. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, David Eugene Bare.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Eddie Ray and Carol Bare, Middleburg Heights, Ohio; two grandchildren: Jonathan Aaron (Pearl) Bare and Jennifer Louise (Duaine) Cavanaugh; six great-grandchildren and one brother, Gary (Bertha Lea) Bellomy, Gallipolis, Ohio.
Mrs. Bare was a devoted member of the Silver Bridge Memorial Freewill Baptist Church, Addison, Ohio.
Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 PM Wednesday March 24, 2010 in the McCoy-Moore Funeral, Wetherholt Chapel, Gallipolis. Burial will follow in Mt. Olive Cemetery, Bidwell. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday 6:00-8:00 PM.
