Dora Mae (Mcfarland) Salisbury

Dora Mae Salisbury, 92, Gallipolis, Ohio passed away Tuesday, February 12, 2019 in the Holzer Senior Care Center, Bidwell, Ohio. She was the daughter of the late George and Alma (Braley) McFarland, born September 4, 1926 in Gallia County, Ohio. Dora was a member of French City Baptist Church, Gallipolis, Ohio and was formerly employed at Robbins & Meyers. She married Asa M. Russell and Warren J. Salisbury, both whom preceded her in death.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughter, Debbie Baker, Gallipolis, Ohio and stepchildren: Dale (Brenda) Salisbury, Colorado; Don (Barbara) Salisbury, Boise, Idaho; Daryl (Gloria) Salisbury, Steve (Shirley) Salisbury, Dennis (Rebecca) Salisbury and Cheryl (Ron) Wroblewski, all of Gallipolis, Ohio; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren and two sisters: Mary Haskins, Columbus, Ohio and Sara Nelson, Gallipolis, Ohio.

In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by her brother, Harvey McFarland and an infant sister.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM Saturday, February 16, 2019 in the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, Gallipolis with Pastor Ralph Workman officiating. Burial will follow in Centenary Cemetery, Gallipolis. Friends and family may call at the funeral home Saturday 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM service time.
