Dudley W. Eggleton
February 26, 1939 — March 13, 2006
Dudley W. Eggleton, 67, Ashville (formerly of Bidwell) passed away at the Kobacker House in Columbus Monday, March 13, 2006. He was born February 26, 1939 in Bladen, son of the late Woodrow Wilson Eggleton and Marcella Green Eggleton. He was a 1958 graduate of North Gallia High School and formerly attended the Gallipolis Church of Christ.
He is survived by two children: Scott (Amy) Eggleton, Salisbury, North Carolina and Karen Fisher, Ashville; three granddaughters, Lindsay D., Sayra M. and Megan L. Fisher, Ashville; two brothers, Ira E. (Joan) Eggleton, Bidwell and John Eggleton, Lebanon; four sisters, Judy (John) Haffelt, Gallipolis, Jane (David) Setliff, Beckley, West Virginia, Sara Bailey, Little Hocking, and Teresa (Greg) Eliason, Chillicothe; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers: William "Tom" Eggleton, Richard Eggleton and Carl Eggleton.
Funeral services will be Friday March 17, 2006 at 1:00 PM at McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton with Pastor Jason Bridgeway officiating. Friends may call Thursday, March 16, 2006 from 5:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home.
