Dwight Bradley Dodrill

Dwight Bradley Dodrill, 68, Jackson, Ohio passed away Tuesday, March 1, 2016 in Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus, Ohio. Born July 22, 1947 in Columbus, he was the son of the late Dwight Henderson and Clyda Pine (Raynes) Dodrill. He was a life long trumpet player. Having attended Asbury College with an emphasis in music, he earned his Bachelor's Degree from Otterbein College with a major in history. He was a United States Navy Veteran.
Dwight is survived by two sons: Donovan (Kimberly Masteller) Dodrill, Kansas City, Missouri and Dominic (Hsiaochi Chang) Dodrill, Columbus, Ohio; granddaughter, Lois Olivia Masteller Dodrill; sister, Mona Lynn (Jim) Tompkins, Mt. Gilead, Ohio and his three special pets: Stripe, Spot and Chin Chin.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM Monday, March 7, 2016 at the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton, with Pastor Bob Powell officiating. Burial will follow in Vinton Memorial Park. Friends and family may call at the funeral home Monday 11:00 AM to the time of service.
