Edna (Perdue) Bennett

Edna Perdue Bennett, 97, Gallipolis, Ohio passed away Wednesday, November 27, 2002 at Holzer Senior Care. She was born October 23, 1905 at Rio Grande, daughter of the late James W. and Ellen Tanner Perdue. She was a member of the Rio Grande Methodist Church.

Edna was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Bennett July 8, 1984, son, Lawrence Bennett and several brothers and sisters.

She is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Ralph and Sally Bennett, Gallipolis; daughter-in-law, Arlene Bennett, Cape Coral, Florida; five grandchildren: Beverly (Dan) Dunkle, Gallipolis; Jackie (Tombo) Woodward, Gallipolis; Shari (Scott) Hasse, Mission Viejo, California; Rick (Denise) Bennett, Lancaster and Vicki (Gary) Johnson, Plainsboro, New Jersey; two step-grandsons, Jack (Natalie) Yeagley, Atlanta, Georgia and Joe (Kendall) Yeagley, Rancho Santa Fe, California; and thirteen great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 30 at 1:00 PM in the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, Gallipolis with Pastor Jim Lusher officiating. Burial will follow in the Pine Street Cemetery, Gallipolis. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday 5:00-7:00 PM.
