Edna Faye (Brandum) Swick

Edna Swick, 94, Bidwell, Ohio went to meet her Lord Jesus Tuesday, May 19, 2020. She passed peacefully at her home with her family beside her. Edna was born July 5, 1925 to the late Hosea and Forest Brandum. She married Kenneth Swick December 10, 1940 and they were married 63 years.

Edna was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother as well as friend, and she had many. She loved animals and had many pets through the years. She was a member at Clark Chapel Church yet attended many churches.

Edna is survived by sons, Reverend Don Swick and Paul Swick; daughters: Mary (Jack) Powell, Janet Johnson and Frances (Rob) Marcum; seventeen grandchildren: Trina, Jacqui, Jill, Kenny, James, Nick, C.J., Dawn, Shawn, David, Melissa, Jonathan, Brent, Robin, Christy, Jenny and James; thirty-seven great-grandchildren and twenty-one great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, Edna was preceded in death by a daughter, Jeann Bickel and a son, Curtis Swick; brothers, Jacob Brandum and Pete Brandum; sisters, Rita Swick and Virginia McCarley and a grandson, Michael Marcum.

Private Funeral services will be conducted Friday May 22, 2020 at McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton Chapel.  Interment will follow at Clark Chapel Cemetery, Bidwell, Ohio.
