Elias "Bill" William Pegg

Elias William "Bill" Pegg, Jr., 90, Gallipolis, Ohio passed away Wednesday, September 5, 2018 in Holzer Medical Center, Gallipolis, Ohio. He was born October 21, 1927 in Columbus, Ohio, son of the late Elias and Gladys (Walter) Pegg, Sr. A U.S. Army Veteran, he was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church, Gallipolis, Ohio. Bill married Nelgene McKean Pegg who preceded him in death May 3, 2011.

He is survived by their sons: Drs. William (Alena) Pegg, Clearwater, Florida and Robert (Debbie) Pegg, RPh., Gallipolis, Ohio; grandchildren: David (Jessie) Pegg, Adam Pegg and Brian Pegg; sister-in-law, Jonda Pegg, Marion, Ohio; niece, Lesley Pegg, Marion, Ohio; special friend, Ginger Quickle, Vinton, Ohio and his circle of friends: Jean Runyon; Susie and Garland Lanier; Mary Lanier; Jeff and Dixie Golden; Todd Bledsoe; Lee Osborne; Larry and Shirley Dailey and Buzz and Betty Call.

In addition to his parents and wife, Bill was preceded in death by brothers Jim Pegg and John Pegg.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM Saturday, September 8, 2018 in the Fellowship Baptist Church, 600 McCormick Road, Gallipolis, Ohio with Rev. Joseph Godwin and Pastor Rick Perrine officiating. Burial will follow in the Vinton Memorial Park, Vinton, Ohio. Full Military Graveside Rites will be conducted by the Vinton American Legion Post 161. Friends and family may call at the church Saturday 11:00 AM to the time of service.
