Ella Belle (Dobbins) Wheeler

Ella Belle Wheeler, 67, of Gallipolis, died Sunday, July 4, 2004, at the Holzer Medical Center. She was born October 23, 1936, in Gallia County, daughter of Mary C. Harrington Dobbins of Bidwell and the late Joseph F. Dobbins Sr. She was a retired home caregiver. Belle accepted the Lord at the Gallipolis Church of Christ at a young age.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by one sister, Nanita Carpenter in 1995.
She is survived by one daughter, Robbin Gail (Edward) Ritch of Whitehall, Ohio; one son, Richard Lee (Sandra) Daft of Sunbury, Ohio; six grandchildren, Christopher, Matthew, Leslie of Columbus and Danielle, Angelique and Heather of Sunbury; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, JoAnn (Don) Hager and Wilma (Harold) Thomas, both of Columbus; three brothers, David (Nancy) Dobbins and Joseph F. (Francis) Dobbins Jr., both of Bidwell; and Darrell (Sylvia) Dobbins of Christmas, Florida and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, July 7, 2004, at the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton Chapel. Friends may call from 5:00 - 8:00 PM, July 6, at the funeral home.
