Ella Marie (Mitchem) Thomas

Ella Marie Thomas, 57, Gallipolis, Ohio passed away Saturday, May 21, 2016 at her residence. She was a former employee at the Gallipolis Developmental Center and was a homemaker.
Ella was born May 26, 1958 at Man, West Virginia, daughter of the late James Calvin Mitchem and Kay (Cooper) Mitchem. She married Kenneth Thomas August 18, 2006 and he survives. She is survived by two sons: Alan Lloyd Tome, Twenty-Nine Palms, California and Charles Michael Tome, York, Pennsylvania; two grandchildren: Matthew and Marshall Tome; brother, Jamie (Diane) Mitchem, Parkersburg, West Virginia; two faithful dogs, Rocko and Doofus as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family members.
In addition to her parents, Ella was preceded in death by a sister, Sandy.
Cremation services are under the direction of the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, Gallipolis, Ohio. Memorial services will be announced at a later date.
