Emily Juanita (Biars) Lambert
January 26, 1924 — October 20, 2006
Emily Juanita Lambert, 82, Patriot, Ohio passed away at her residence Friday, October 20, 2006. A 1942 Vinton High School Graduate, she retired from the Campbell Soup Company, Napoleon, Ohio in 1994. She was a member of the United Food and Commercial Workers International Union, Local 626.
Emily was born January 26, 1924 in Gallia County, Ohio, daughter of the late Frederick Biars and Anna White Biars Higgins. She married Clinton G. Lambert June 6, 1943 and he preceded her in death in 1980.
Surviving are six children: Clinton (Brenda) Lambert, Raceland, Kentucky; Betty (Harvey) Saunders, Patriot; Charles (Deb) Lambert, Defiance, Ohio; Judy (Dave) Lambert, Patriot; Clarence Dale "Butch" Lambert, Patriot; and Clara Ann (Stuart) Knouse, Findlay, Ohio; nineteen grandchildren, three step-grandchildren and forty-seven great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two great-grandchildren; a sister, Kathryn Friend and special Aunt, Vernoka (Babe) Waugh.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday in the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton with Rev. Ron Bynum officiating. Burial will follow in the Vinton Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday 6:00-8:00 PM.
