Ernest Borden Jr

Ernest Borden Jr., 60, Bidwell, Ohio passed away Saturday, October 4, 2008 in Arbors of Gallipolis following a brief illness. He was born March 8, 1948 in Bidwell, son of the late Ernest Leroy Borden Sr. and Gertrude Johnson Borden. He was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, Bidwell, and had been employed by the Korner Store in Porter for seven years.
He is survived by siblings, Jack (Teresa) Borden, Vinton, Ohio and Jill (Daniel) Gilmore, Tallahassee, Florida; several nieces, nephews and cousins; many friends including special friends: Jack, Pam, and Jacob Riley, Bidwell and Rick and Debbie Hill, Bidwell, Ohio.
Preceding him in death were two sisters and two brothers: Barbara Jackson, Ernestine Mundell, Thurman and Hurley Borden.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday at Mt. Carmel Church, Bidwell, with Rev. Gene Armstrong officiating. Burial will follow in the Pine Hill Cemetery near Evergreen. Friends may call at the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton 6:00-8:00 PM.
