Estella Ruth (Ashworth) Wiseman

Estella Ruth Wiseman, 102, Gallipolis, passed away Tuesday, May 9, 2006 at Heartland of Jackson, Jackson, Ohio. She was born October 2, 1903 in Lawrence County, Ohio, daughter of the late George and Sarah LaVada Massie Ashworth. She married Orin Wiseman in Gallia County June 30, 1928 and he preceded her on June 5, 1988.
Estella is survived by a daughter, Phyllis (Orville) Ingles, Patriot, Ohio and a son, Edwin (Ruth) Wiseman, Yreka, California; eight grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; a brother, Fred (Shirley) Ashworth, Pedro, Ohio; a sister, Sylvia Arbaugh, Ironton, Ohio and a sister-in-law, Jean Wiseman, Gallipolis, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by one great-grandchild, four brothers and seven sisters.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM, Saturday, May 13, 2006 at McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, 420 First Ave, Gallipolis with Jan Thornton officiating. Burial will follow at Olive Cemetery, Patriot, Ohio. Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday from 11:00 to 1:00 P.M.
