Esther Lucille (Painter) Davis
February 26, 1915 — March 24, 2008
Esther Lucille Davis, 93, Kanauga, passed away Monday, March 24, 2008 at Holzer Senior Care Center, Bidwell. Born February 26, 1915 in Meigs County, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Von and Murriel Davis Painter.
She is survived by son, James (Molly) Davis, Stamping Ground, Kentucky and daughter, Susie Travers, Hebron, Ohio; five grandchildren: Greg and Marc Travers, Jamie Fuller, Michelle Frommeyer and Phillip Daniel Davis; daughter-in-law, Janet Davis, Gallipolis, Ohio.
She was preceded by her husband, Ernest Harold Davis, 1976; son, Phillip Davis, 1999; grandson, Michael A. "Tony" Davis, 1992; one brother and four sisters.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Thursday, March 27, 2008 in the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, 420 First Ave, Gallipolis with Pastor Bob Powell officiating. Burial will follow in Vinton Memorial Park. Friends may call Thursday 12:00 Noon one hour prior to the service.
