Ethel Louise McAllister Kemp, 72, Vinton, Ohio passed away Monday, November 5, 2007 in Holzer Medical Center, Gallipolis, Ohio. She was born December 23, 1934 in Salt Lake City, Utah, daughter of the late Everett Kenton "Mac" McAllister and Delsa Kilgrow McAllister. She was a member of the Fellowship Chapel Church, Vinton, Ohio.
Ethel is survived by three sons and two daughters: Wayne (Eva) Kemp Jr., Jackson, Ohio; Tom (Lisa) Kemp, Vinton, Ohio; James (Kim) Kemp, Gallipolis, Ohio; Delsa (Jeff) Hill, Gallipolis, Ohio; Salome Kemp Attar, Vinton, Ohio; seventeen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren; two brothers, Kenton (Rushie) McAllister, Oak Hill, Ohio and Glen (Frances) McAllister, Vinton, Ohio.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Kemp Sr.; a son, Harold Kemp; grandson, Daniel Lee Kemp; great-granddaughter, Emily Patton; two brothers, Lenwood and James McAllister; and a sister, Francie McAllister.
Funeral services will be held 12:00 Noon Wednesday, November 7, 2007 in the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton, with Rev. Paul Sword officiating. Burial will follow in Morgan Center Cemetery, Bidwell. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, November 6, 5:00-8:00 PM.
