Evelyn E. (Mayes) Conduff
December 26, 1916 — December 30, 2006
Evelyn E. Conduff, 90, Gallipolis, passed away Saturday, December 30, 2006 in the home of her niece, Barbara Blanton, Vinton, Ohio. She was born December 26, 1916 at Henderson, West Virginia, daughter of the late Russell Mayes and Lula Booth Mayes. She was a graduate of Charleston (West Virginia) High School and she retired from the Gallipolis Developmental Center, Gallipolis, in 1981.
In addition to her parents, Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, Boyd Conduff in 1960 and by her daughter, Ellen Wood in 1979.
In addition to her niece, Barbara, she is survived by two grandchildren: Jane Ellen (Edward) McGovern, and their children, Eddie and Olivia, Patriot; Allen (Sheila) Wood, and their children, Abby and Jenna, Gallipolis; and great nephew, Monty Blanton and his children, Chris and Chase, Vinton.
Interment will be held at the convenience of the family in the Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans, West Virginia, under the direction of the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton.
