Evonna Lynn Marcum

Evonna Lynn Marcum, 57 of Gallipolis, Ohio passed away Saturday, October 17, 2026. She was born March 24, 1969, in Louisville, Kentucky, daughter of Thomas (Magie) Dixon of Olive Hill, Kentucky and the Late Linda (Cummings) Swim. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and attended Namesake Church, Lake Wells, Florida.

In addition to her father Evonna is survived by her husband David Marcum, Lake Wells, Florida, eight children, Wayne Gambill, Vinton, Ohio, Robert Gambill, Portsmouth, Ohio, Bobby Joe (Stephanie) Gambill, Jackson, Ohio, Janet Gambill, Bidwell, Ohio, Linda (Luke) Gambill, Bidwell, Ohio, Lola (Cary) Dawson, Albany, Ohio, Shelley (Mark Browning) Kemper, Bidwell, Ohio, Holly (Tony) Gillman, Vinton, Ohio, step-father, Dallas Swim, Portsmouth, Ohio, twenty eight grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, three sisters, Angela York, Portsmouth, Ohio, Terri (Mike) Blevins, Franklin Furnace, Ohio and Michelle (Scott) Frazier, Wheelersburg, Ohio.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a sister Mary Dixon.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Wednesday October 21, 2026, in the Pinnacle Church, Vinton, Ohio. Burial will follow in Pendelton-Marcum Cemetery, Vinton. Friends may call at the church on Wednesday at 11:00 A.M. till time of service. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
