Florence Lucille (Handley) Hale

Florence Lucille Handley Hale, 92, Vinton passed away at her residence on Wednesday, February 23, 2005. She was born December 3, 1912 in Indiana, daughter of the late John and Mary Marie Beckley Handley. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Hale, in 1989; and by a son, Buddy Hale.
She is survived by three daughters: Ella Mae Wyatt, Dayton; Mary O'Dell, Orlando, Florida and Roxanne Hale, Vinton; eleven grandchildren, including Deletta Hale and her daughter, Cili Hale, Vinton; twenty-four great-grandchildren and thirty-one great-great-grandchildren; brother, Paul Handley, Washington D.C.; and a special friend, Connie Miracle, Vinton.
Services will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, February 28, 2005 in the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton, with the Rev. Paul Ring officiating. Burial will follow in the McGhee Cemetery at Vinton. Friends may call at the funeral home from noon to 1:00 PM Monday.
