Florence Paulene Crace, 78, Gallipolis, Ohio passed away at her residence Saturday November 27, 2004 following an extended illness. She retired from the Bob Evans Restaurant in 1985 following twenty six years service as a waitress and was a member of the Gallipolis First Baptist Church. She was born June 6, 1926 in Hobson, Ohio, daughter of the late Willie Herbert and Mabel Helen Long Williams.

She is survived by her husband, James Hamilton Crace and two sons and daughters-in-law: Jack Edward (Paula) Crace, Vinton, Ohio and James H. (Jane) Crace Jr., Racine, Ohio; one daughter and son-in-law: Beatrice Ann and Larry Sayre, Carson City, Nevada; step-daughter, Wanda Quire, Dayton, Ohio; five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, a brother and a sister: Lewis Vernon Williams, Pomeroy, Ohio and Eldena Smith, Fairfield, Ohio; and two very special long time friends: Jean Johnson and Lexie Shelton, both of Gallipolis.

Florence was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday in the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, Gallipolis with Rev. Archie Conn officiating. Burial will follow in the Vinton Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday 5:00-9:00 PM.
