Florence Colleen (Williams) Edmiston
December 9, 1921 — March 23, 2013
EDMISTON, Florence Colleen (Williams) 91, passed away Saturday, March 23, 2013 surrounded by loving family. She was born in Tampa, Florida December 9, 1921 where she lived until she married the love of her life, Charles Harold Edmiston, and they moved to his home town of Vinton, Ohio. They returned to Tampa several years later and over the years lived in Vinton, Ohio; Tampa, Ruskin and most recently Land O'Lakes, Florida. They were married 66 years. She retired from her position as a Food Stamp Quality Control Worker with the State of Florida.
She is predeceased by her parents, Norton B. and Ruth Williams and children: Charles Clayton, Cathy Eileen and Norton Patten.
She is survived by her children: Lisa Edmiston, Susan (Richard) Juarez and granddaughter, Kelley Cutillo.
The Episcopal Eucharistic Burial Service was held Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at St. John the Divine Episcopal Church in Ruskin, Florida.
Friends may call at the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton Chapel, 11:00-11:45 AM Saturday, March 30, 2013. A brief Chapel Service will be followed by a Graveside service in Vinton Memorial Park.
