Frank Pesey
August 24, 1918 — November 1, 2008
Frank Pesey, 90, Gallipolis passed away Saturday, November 1, 2008 from a long illness at Holzer Senior Care Center, Gallipolis. He was born August 24, 1918 in Columbus, Ohio, son of the late Joseph Anthony and Teresa Kuhaur Pesey. A U.S. Navy Veteran who served during WWII, Frank was a member of Morning Dawn Lodge #17. He was also a retired GDC employee and a member of Prospect Baptist Church.
He married Lillie Mae Ramey on September 18, 1948 in Pomeroy, Ohio and she preceded him in death April 30, 2002. He was also preceded by two daughters, Imogene McComas and Yvonne Dyer, sister, Elizabeth Pesey and brother, Joe Pesey.
He is survived by a daughter, Lillian (Norris) Price, Gallipolis; son-in-law, Dencil McComas, Peach Creek, West Virginia and son-in-law, Jerry Dyer, Huntington, West Virginia; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, November 5, 2008 in the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Gallipolis with Pastor Ed Mollahan officiating. Entombment will follow at Ohio Valley Memory Gardens, Gallipolis. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 5:00-7:00 PM.
